Walking with God, Zimbabwe

Encouragement and resolve

Evangelical Library, Colombo, Sri Lanka

Such encouraging words from Trust recipient, Sarlomie, who is a Bible college librarian from Zimbabwe. Here she tells how the books we are able to send, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, have helped her on her personal spiritual journey as well as providing resources for the students.

“…I also just want to confirm that I have found the book resources very helpful in my own study and walk with God. In the last Bible study fellowship year we were going through a study of Genesis. It was indeed a timely study as I came to understand how God walks with his people and is intricately involved in my life - through its ups and downs.

And it was especially encouraging to know that God remains sovereign no matter the circumstances we find ourselves in. He can be trusted always.

During the study I particularly found the Wiersbe Bible commentaries you sent very helpful. In fact, I'm currently re-reading Be Authentic by Warren Wiersbe.

Joseph's integrity, love and devotion to God and his response to circumstances is particularly challenging for me these days - especially because of the times we are in, with Covid and related issues. I'm just praying that God will change my heart, give me the right perspective and help me respond appropriately to people I come into contact with and to the challenges we face. I'm also praying, that like Joseph, God will make me fruitful in the land of my affliction.

So thank you very much for the books. They do help me on my spiritual journey. May God bless you and the ministry of Sovereign World Trust.” .
