We hear from lay preacher, Mary...

It was wonderful to hear from Mary of Kianyaga Diocese in Kenya recently. Mary serves as a lay reader in her local church, and her passion for sharing God’s Word shone brightly through her words. 

Mary and the team at All Saints Church recently received a donation of books from the Trust, including The Foundations of Christian Living by Bob Gordon. After delving into its pages, Mary was moved by the wisdom and insight that Bob Gordon’s words offer. She felt compelled to reach out and share her thoughts with us.

Mary shared that the teachings in the book have had a significant impact on her own spiritual journey, and have greatly enriched the lives of those in her church community. As she and her fellow believers study the Word of God together, they feel truly 'enlightened' by the wisdom imparted through this resource. The book has sparked thoughtful discussions and has helped them grow in their faith in ways they hadn’t anticipated.

In her note, Mary sent her warmest blessings to all those who work for the Trust and to the generous supporters who make this work possible. Her words serve as another powerful reminder of the impact that these books are having, not just in Kenya, but across the globe as they continue to help believers deepen their understanding and connection with God.
