The need for a broad range of responses is a major reason for developing partnerships with other organisations, each bringing their own particular specialism and areas of expertise. We are privileged to connect with other church ministries - especially in Africa, India and the former Soviet Union - which provide practical support and Christian witness to local communities.
We also partner with smaller groups or individuals bringing their own unique knowledge and expertise in local areas of the developing world.
A partnership between Sovereign World Trust and Starfish Malawi.
In 2012 a library and resource centre was established for pastors of churches in the Salima district of Malawi.
In 2014 six smaller satellite libraries were planted in the surrounding villages in response to many requests. Following a visit by Sovereign World Trust in 2016, the number of library locations progressively increased, rising to ten satellite locations in 2021.
Starfish Malawi is a Christian organisation working within education, agriculture, vocational training, health and social care for children and young people in Malawi.

Kevin and Anne Luck sold up everything they owned to go and live in Bulgaria.
Here they distribute Biblical teaching materials, particularly on wholeness and relationships.
In partnership with locals they lead teaching conferences and publish translations.
Sovereign World Trust has been able to support the Lucks with books in Bulgarian and in English.
Specialist local knowledge, such as that of the Lucks in Bulgaria, means we can reach more regional communities worldwide. In such situations, we are often able to send books with our partners, saving on mailing costs.
