The power of Biblical resources

At the heart of our ministry continues to be a simple yet vital mission: to equip pastors worldwide with the Biblical teaching and preaching resources they need to shepherd their congregations effectively. As ever, we continue to support pastors in Africa, many of whom face daunting challenges that make it difficult to grow in their own faith and lead others.

The challenges faced by pastors in developing nations

In many parts of the world, especially in rural areas of Africa, pastors often lack the basic resources to deepen their understanding of God's Word. The challenges they face include:

• Limited access to books: For many pastors, purchasing books or accessing digital resources is either impossible or unaffordable. 
• Remote locations: Many pastors live in rural villages, where they work the land to provide for their families and have little time for study. 
• Inadequate education: Many pastors are young and have received little formal theological training. 
• Vulnerability to incorrect teachings: Without proper guidance, some pastors may fall prey to teachings from native religions or inaccurate doctrines.
• Isolation: Many pastors serve in communities with little or no external support, sometimes leading to burnout or spiritual discouragement. 

These pastors face incredible odds, yet they remain committed to serving their communities, despite their challenges.

Our response: empowering pastors with resources

Our ministry seeks to respond to these needs in practical and impactful ways. Our core activity is to send small packages of carefully selected books, typically two to four titles, to pastors in some of the world’s most impoverished regions. We do this through a regular book mailing program that reaches pastors throughout the year. These books are tailored to meet their unique needs, offering expository teaching and practical guidance that empowers them to lead with confidence.

In addition to our book mailings, we partner with local organizations that are able to distribute resources directly to those in need.  

We also provide digital resources for pastors who have access to mobile devices and reliable internet.

The impact of these resources

Through the provision of both hard copy and digital resources, we are seeing significant impact in the lives of pastors and their communities:

• Better Understanding of God's Word: Pastors gain a deeper knowledge of Scripture, equipping them to preach and teach with clarity and confidence. 
• Confidence in Leadership: With proper resources, pastors feel more capable of guiding their congregations, addressing challenges, and recognising potential pitfalls.
• Community Building: Pastors, once isolated, now feel supported and connected through the resources we provide, strengthening their faith and their ability to serve. 
• Multiplying the Impact: Many pastors share these books with fellow pastors or others in their communities who have a good understanding of English, further spreading the knowledge and wisdom of God's Word. 

We are committed to helping these pastors grow in faith and leadership, ensuring that they are not alone in their ministry journey. The resources we provide, whether books or digital content, are more than just educational materials; they are lifelines that strengthen the body of Christ, one pastor at a time.
