We have, in the last few weeks, heard from Pastor Paul in India as he received his latest mailing from the Trust. The pastor had recently been sent Come with me through Isaiah, by David Pawson and Michael Eaton’s The Christian, Israel and the Hope of World Revival: Israel in Romans 9-11 and was moved to write in praise of the selecitons.
“Greetings to you from India," writes Pastor Paul. “I have received the books yesterday. I thank you so much for continuing to help me with these wonderful books…they are helping me a lot in my spiritual growth and I am getting a deeper understanding of the word of God in the context. They are also helping me to teach our church groups – I am continuously sharing from the books I have received from Sovereign over so many years.
I personally thank you all team for supporting me, I pray for all good health for the SWT team and may the Lord provide all financial needs. God bless you all.â€
Come with me through Isaiah, by David Pawson, offers a close look at the book of Isaiah and its timeless messages. The book of Isaiah can be viewed as the whole Bible in miniature with the first 39 chapters reflecting the themes of the 39 books of the Old Testament and the last 27 chapters prefiguring the events of the New Testament. David Pawson first gave the studies contained within this book in sermons to his congregation; now they can be shared by all in a walk through the teachings they contain.
The Christian, Israel and the Hope of World Revival: Israel in Romans 9-11, by Michael Eaton, examines the significance of Israel through New Testament scriptures. The author walks us through the often difficult to interpret teaching of Romans 9-11 in a easy to digest, simple manner which helps to clarify any potential for misunderstanding or misinterpretation. He explains how Israel has a special place in God's plan, bringing a balanced understanding of God's purposes for Israel and the Church.
