Global Book Shipments Update

Global book shipments bringing truth, hope, and growth

While our regular mailings continue, we've recently sent several high-volume shipments that are expanding our reach and equipping communities with Christian resources where they're needed most.

Here’s a look at what’s been happening:

Malawi: a major shipment for Starfish libraries

We recently dispatched a three-cubic-metre shipment to the Starfish Malawi network of Christian libraries.

What was inside?

  • A mix of new and pre-loved titles, including more advanced theology books to strengthen the central library hub in Salima.
  • Multiple copies of newer books for pastors in remote towns and villages, far from the reach of main and satellite libraries.

To protect and store these books in Malawi’s challenging climate, we included durable 64-litre containers with handles and lids.

We also recycled wooden shelving units from our old office space. Timber is costly locally, so the Starfish team will convert these into brick-and-wood shelving—a practical and budget-friendly way to grow their storage space.

Also included in this shipment:

15 boxes of books for Brother Francis, who leads Going Home Africa Ministries in Liwonde, training pastors and sharing the gospel through evangelistic outreach.

Uganda: strengthening leadership and families

At the request of our partner Richard Smart, we reprinted and shipped two essential resources by Richard Wallis:

  • The Essentials of an Excellent Christian Marriage
  • The Essentials of Excellent Christian Leadership

These books are now being distributed to pastors across Uganda, supporting church growth and encouraging strong, faith-filled marriages.

India: equipping a trusted pastoral network

We also sent five boxes of The Branch Commentary by Michael Eaton to India. These commentaries will serve a trusted network of pastors, offering solid biblical teaching and practical discipleship support to churches across the region.

Tanzania: books carried by hand

On a recent return trip to Tanzania, Bishop John Lupaa of the Rift Valley Diocese carried 46kg of books in two suitcases—making full use of his unused baggage allowance from his UK visit.

“Please know that your partnership continues to inspire and uplift us.”
– Bishop John Lupaa

Your support makes this possible

Every book, every box, every shipment is a reminder that what we send matters. These aren’t just resources—they’re tools for transformation, encouragement, and growth in places where access is limited but the hunger for truth is great.

Thank you for standing with us. Your generosity is helping to equip churches, pastors, and communities around the world.
