Closer to home

A 'worldwide' need

Sovereign World Trust provides Biblical teaching and preaching resources across the globe, and you will have seen stories and testimonies from our recipients in Africa, Asia, South America and the Far East. But our outreach is not just confined to these areas. 

We also have recipients closer to home in Eastern Europe, where the challenges of poverty and cultural differences are just as real, and the need to enable people to grow in their faith, to understand God’s word and to live their lives in a Christian way is every bit as imperative.

This month, In response to our recent library mailing, we heard from just one of our Eastern European recipients, Pastor Marcel in Romania. 

"Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ, our Lord, 

We would like to show our gratitude for the books which you sent to us (including two copies of The Essentials of an Excellent Christian Marriage) for our Library. We did not have such books in the library and we really need marriage counselling courses. We also appreciate the fact that we can download these books for free from the web address provided. 

We appreciate your books, dedication and effort to help us with Christian literature, which we do not have here. We rejoice that by God's grace we can work together and have such brothers and sisters who support such work.
