At the height of the Covid pandemic and unable to send out our usual pastor book mailings, we began to compile Biblical teaching emails to support those pastors and libraries contactable via email. Cargo embargoes and the chaos surrounding Covid meant that the physical mailing of books was impossible, but we were keen to support our recipients by whatever means possible. Whilst gradually (and with a few notable exceptions) we have been able to resume our mailings, by popular demand our digital teaching has also continued in tandem with the long-awaited resumption of book deliveries.
In our latest emails, we have offered a three-part teaching series on perhaps one of the more overlooked books of the Bible as Trust Director, Chris Moffett, reflects on how we might gain a better understanding of 1 John and considers its significance for us today.
When was the last time you read through 1 John - that short letter tucked away at the end of the New Testament close to the Book of Revelation? Did it help you? Did you find it easy to follow and to get the message?
In addition to the links below, you can find this series and all our teaching letters by visiting our resource website.
Please do feel free to share details of our digital teaching resources with all those you feel might benefit. .
1 John for Today - part 1

1 John for Today - part 2
In the second of our three-part series, we continue to explore how we might better understand 1 John as we look back into the context of Biblical times, setting out the situation of the first readers in Ephesus...
1 John for Today - part 3
In the third and final instalment of our series on 1 John Chris Moffett examines the route to truth and the wrongful ideas we might encounter along the way...
