The impact of the right books in the right hands

We were recently encouraged to hear from Pastor Evans in Kenya, who wrote to share how two books received from the Trust have had a profound impact on both his personal walk with God and his ministry. 

The books—Practicing the Principles of Prayer by David Pawson and The Christian, Israel and the Hope of World Revival by Michael Eaton—deeply stirred the pastor's heart. So much so, that he and his team have since launched a dedicated prayer group focused on interceding for global revival.

“These books strike at the heart of prayer in our lives,” Pastor Evans shared. “My heart has been refreshed and I have developed a heart and strong desire for prayer.”

In his message to us, Pastor Evans also included a powerful personal testimony. 

After falling seriously unwell, he was moved to prayer while reading Practicing the Principles of Prayer. What followed was nothing short of remarkable. “I received an almost instant healing,” he wrote.

Inspired and renewed, Pastor Evans now hopes that his story will encourage other pastors and church leaders to embrace a deeper life of prayer. 

He extended his heartfelt thanks to all our supporters who make it possible for these resources to reach pastors around the world.
