Leadership and marriage resources printed locally in Uganda

The New Year brings some encouraging news, following the second reprint in Uganda of two of our most popular and much-appreciated titles. 

Late last year, we were delighted to see 500 copies each of The Essentials of Excellent Christian Leadership and The Essentials of an Excellent Christian Marriage printed locally in Uganda, ensuring these trusted resources can continue to reach pastors and church leaders more widely.

Regular readers will recognise these titles as two of the most consistently requested books we distribute. Written by Richard Wallis (with John Collinson contributing to the leadership volume), they have been warmly received by recipients across the globe. In many settings, church leaders have gone on to develop entire training courses based on the material, a powerful testament to their practical impact.

Until recently, distribution rights for these books were held by the charity Mission Possible UK (MPUK). When MPUK began the process of closing down, the organisation generously transferred the publishing and distribution rights, including rights to existing translations, to the Trust. This has opened up exciting new possibilities.

With full publishing rights, we can reprint the books locally through trusted partners, rather than shipping them from overseas. This approach dramatically reduces costs, avoids freight delays, and (most importantly) allows the books to be placed directly into the hands of pastors and leaders. 

These printed resources are supported by access to our growing online materials, helping readers to deepen their learning and apply it in their own contexts. By working locally, we are not only increasing accessibility but also strengthening relationships on the ground, ensuring these resources continue to equip, encourage and empower church leaders where they are most needed.
