Bishop Enock on the road again...

It’s wonderful to hear from Bishop Enock, who has once again taken to the road, travelling deep into rural Malawi with his evangelical team. This latest journey saw them visit 18 remote villages, bringing encouragement, prayer and the message of the Gospel to communities far from the main towns.

Bishop Enock kept a photo diary throughout the trip, capturing some of the people and places they encountered along the way. He has kindly shared these photos and his commentary with us, giving us a glimpse into this remarkable journey.

"Greetings from Malawi in the name of our precious Lord and Saviour, King Jesus Christ.

Here we are, loading ready to leave for the next village.

With your great prayers and support, we were able to visit all 18 villages and God has manifested Himself in these villages. It was hard ground, but God was with us, protecting us.

Evangelical Library, Colombo, Sri Lanka We only had verbal, not physical attacks in 5 villages and we have seen and witnessed 512 people joining the big family (receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour) and 62 being baptised. Many were renewed in their faith and delivered from different bondages. We are amazed! People arriving at the baptism site. And here is baptism at Thondwe River.

We also blessed each village with handwashing materials to use whenever they gather.

Here, introducing the  Bible Study at Mbera Village. We had a good time doing homiletics and the five questions  We had some classes at night as we wanted them to learn more and be able to continue when we leave their villages.   Evangelical Library, Colombo, Sri Lanka

We have a lot of testimonies this trip of how God is using the Bible Study to touch and equip many lives (leaders).

Here is Pastor Twaya Douglas. He said he grew up in an Islamic family, and when he received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour, he accepted the call to be a pastor and lead a church in his village. He didn’t have any opportunity to go to Bible school, but since the Bible study was introduced to him three years ago, he has been understanding more and more of God’s words, and his church is not the same. He is so thankful to us for reaching him with this type of Bible study.

Children were also reached with the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God willing, we will leave again on 25th August 2026 and come back on 8th September to the southern part of Malawi, along the border of Mozambique, when we will visit 13 villages, of which six are new villages for us to visit and six of the villages are in Mozambique.

Once again, thank you so much for all your prayers and great support that has made all this possible. May God continue to be with you and give you good health."
