Supporting Bible colleges

Colleges and Bible schools in third world countries are teaching the leaders of the future, so it is vitally important that we work closely with the librarians in these facilities to ensure that we send the most appropriate, culturally relevant materials. These will enable students to learn and to grow in their Biblical knowledge.

Bible schools often need practical texts, while theological colleges might require more scholarly and exegetical titles. Meanwhile, we often use our catalogue of good condition pre-loved titles to support existing and newer libraries where the requirement for a range of reference books is significant.

Where we can, we will seek to help libraries with titles for a variety of audiences. These might include books for lecturers and teachers to help with lesson plans, those for students with a need to reference specialist materials, and proven required titles for the general student population. There is also often a need for particular books for specific courses.

When we have larger requests from new college libraries or those with depleted resources, we will seek to ship books in bulk quantities to minimise costs. Often pre-loved books from retiring ministers in the UK find a new lease of life in school or college libraries.
