Safe arrival Tanzania

We are so pleased to report the safe arrival of books for diploma students at St John’s Bible College in Tanzania. This is a real answer to prayer.

We dispatched 17 copies of Patrick Whitworth’s Bible Inside Out specifically for the students, but our concern was that a duty would be levied by customs officials in-country despite the books being a donation. 

This has unfortunately been a ‘theme’ this year for mailings to some African destinations, and the varying duty costs levied can cause financial strain for our recipients, as well as meaning significant delays to the delivery of their books. 

 Bishop John (pictured) from the college was delighted to have received the books safely.

 Meanwhile, we have sent some Swahili copies of The Bible Student (edited by Peter Sammons) to Bishop John, which we hope and pray will arrive shortly.
