The pastor recently received a copy of Breaking the Leadership Bottleneck by Paul Weaver from the Trust and wrote in praise of the book. He is using this to underpin his teaching as he helps those in his ministry's Sunday School to know Jesus better.

The author’s contention is that so many church leaders today remain entrenched in the past, essentially becoming 'bottlenecks' not facilitators for their flocks in their Christian development. His book offers a range of practical teaching and guidance for leaders to start moving forward, breaking the bottleneck and ‘releasing rather than containing the creative energy of the church.’ .
