News from Harvest Ministries, Yangon

It has certainly been a busy few months for Myanmar Harvest Ministries; and we are delighted to bring some of the images and news from Pastor Khai and his team in Yangon as they share and demonstrate the love of God throughout their community.

The team minister to different areas of their community across a wide area in a number of ways:

Home visits

By visiting those in need to offer care and support, while praying for them and where possible bringing them closer to God.

Fellowship

Gathering together to glorify God in smaller and larger groups, and caring for each other. Praying through and helping one another during the monsoon season when heavy rains led to waterlogged areas, impassable roads and tracks, and a huge strain on the local infrastructure.

Discipleship & outreach

Medical evangelism with over 70 local households providing much needed medical care and treatment. Such mission outreaches look to meet both physical and spiritual needs.

Children & young people

Prayer and support for the 35 children attending the government school – many of these children and their families need help to meet school fees and to afford supplies.

The ministry continues to reach out as it attempts to provide a loving and caring community, sharing and training God’s message in both word and deed.

With thanks to Pastor Khai for the story and images.
